Some of the biggest flakes I ever saw down here, lasted about 15 minutes and got close to an inch on everything then it mixed with rain. Still a mix and seems to want to go back to all snow at times but not happening.

Snowing 32.7* here in Saint James. About .75" on the grass, pavement is wet and getting just a bit slushy.

Took a nap, holy crap this flow is ripping. Moving very fast, heavy snow, nearly 3" or so on ground from the looks of it.

Pushing 5 inches here now. Moderate to heavy snow @ 30.5 degrees. LOL Mt Holly finally goes to WSW for its norther tier. If that 35 dBZ band gets into my neck of the woods 6" is a lock.
February is such a beautiful month. Terrible pattern yet is just finds a way to dump some significant white gold.

You are getting more of an ocean influence. You could changeover, but nothing is going to accumulate unless temps drop there.

Winds suddenly turned northerly to northeasterly along the NJ coast and Southern and Eastern LI. Might be a good sign for all of you raining right now

About 3" here depending on what you consider an appropriate surface to measure on. Its coming down hard. As wet as snow can be and still be considered snow. It soaking like walking in the rain. The trees look like a postcard. The newer LED streetlights give them an extra glow too.

Looking at radar the main batch of precip is ending west to east soon. What you have an hour or two from now may be what you end up with for the most part.
