Pain in the Butt March 7th Godzilla: Observations

Pretty much done for me, any snow will be gone by around 4 and its still 34, and temp is going up again... No work for me it looks like since it barely stuck on anything but the grass... Any one want to send donations?

Still just pouring heavy snow here. If this continues at this rate until even 5 or 6 I should end up over 10".

I am hearing from Joe cioffi the front of the heaviest snow for everyone should be around 4 till 8 ?

No way I'm getting 15-20. 6 if lucky

Been snowing here and sticking since before I woke up at 5:30 am, but only got really bad in the last 90 minutes or so.

A little over 6 inches so far.

If HRRR is right ill be lucky to see 6-10.

Lucky to get, prolly less and not compared to models and NWS forecasts of 12-18. Was no need to call school roads are just a bit slushy besides my school is done by 2, at 2 there was barely anything on roads. I actually am not hoping for the storm monday sorry but if theres another snow day i lose a day in my april week off and that messes up vacation plans.

No snow in the city

Here in Midtown East it was snowing hard for a while and it still is but it's almost sleet-like so no accumulation. I did hear a round of very loud thunder snow. It caused people on the sidewalk to stop and look up.

stopped completely in yonkers NY. Radar isnt blank so I am dreading if I am getting that issue I had last time with it snowing but not reaching the ground.

And not for nothing, but there were some snow maps out there, ahem, that had a lot of people getting 3-6 or right on the border of 3-6.

Glad I worked from home this morning. Leaving Parsippany at 1-2pm would have put me in a world of hurt driving home. I'd say ~3" on the ground in Flemington in the last hour.

Already had two 6-12 storms this year, not that uncommon. You can see my totals at bottom, just with friday, now this and I dont think itll come to even close to 6-10. maybe lucky to get 6 i should said. Its mainly cuz I am home for no reason, wasting snow days at the school they only have two then they start taking away from break. Would been better to do their half staff thing which doesnt use a snow day and rotating staff get off.

Been snowing very hard for the past 30 min, after about 1 hr of sleet/snow, coming up on 2" already with 3-4 hrs of great rates ahead...oh and mad thunder-snow and snow-lightning. My 7 yr old loves it, her 4 yr sister is a bit scared.

That snow is just stacking! I think the sleet fest actually helped, the ground was literally frozen solid when the full on snow hit.

And the radar looks stout for the next 4-5 hours!

It’s really ripping good here but compacting into slush concrete. About 2” on the ground. Roads horrible.

Hopefully once the sun angle lowers it’ll accumulate faster. Right now we could easily have 5”.
