Frank can you post where you saw that, I can't find it online.
Was it a Central Park measurement?
Saw it on Twitter. Not sure if it was "official" reading but I've been seeing many reports.
Bobert2686 wrote:Absolute bust here on south shore of Long Island. Raining. What a waste. Hoping one day some meterologost will know what there talking abut.
I would give it some time.
Also, can we keep these type of posts in the banter thread (not directed at you but everyone). Keep this thread for pure observations. I instructed all the Mods to delete posts and not even to bother moving them.

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations Part II
Thanks Frank sweet, hoping to reach that 12 inch mark, 15 or more would be amazing but I will be perfectly happy with 12, and quite honestly 6+ even but I had 11 this year so I would like this to be the top storm. Did not mean to step on your feet bout the banter but this time around I really did not want to hear negativity unless it was from you guys whom I trust, those tweets are just to piss people off, in na way trolling his own agenda. back to the storm! When do you expect it to pick up in intensity? It has been steady but not super heavy all day.

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations Part II
How can anyone say this is over anytime soon, look at the radar! And the LP is still to the south and last I heard from Frank is going to move NNE which would put it around or inside the BM. This is going to last maybe even to flurries into daybreak you watch.

They actually haven’t lowered totals. Look at the time stamp. That’s from 2pm to 8am additional. We are in the storm now. Each subsequent map issuence is “additional snow” it’s not a total snow map anymore like before the storm. So verbatim on that map they expect 10” of additonal snow from 2pm to 8am in Freehold

Zhukov1945 wrote:Longtime lurker but this is just too fun - snow picking up near Clinton NJ, heaviest of the day by far. Temp broke a bit above 32 but stabilizing back down now. Here's too the faithful forecasters being the right ones (you guys have kept my spirits up while the twitter forecasting crowd keeps trying to break them down)!
Welcome

Well, in my area this would be a lowered total because I’m not starting with much right now. Lol. But your point is taken with regard to other places.aiannone wrote:billg315 wrote:RJB8525 wrote:

Reporting in from the furthest northwest reaches of the board to report no snow with 32* and cloudy skies except for the places where there's sun.
