For the past hour or so, this line has been creeping east and little north...

28* with light to moderate snow. Snow is varying in intensity with occasional heavier bursts followed by lighter periods. All roads are pretty much snow covered but the most heavily traveled well-treated have some blacktop showing in spots. About an inch on coldest surfaces so far here.

Have to say the radar to our west doesn’t look great. A few heavy bands creeping up from the south but the heaviest axis right now is across South Jersey.

It is snowing heavily here at Cranbury NJ. I am at work and will leave soon. At home western ocean county, my wife told it is already close 4 inches.

Agreed, but i believe it's filling in a bit from ABE to Reading. It's picking up again to heavy snow IMBY.

Good to hear because what you’re getting now is about what I’m getting an hour or two later.

Air temps at 2 m, 850 and 700 not an issue right now at the coast:

Those rock star bands made it east, but not north. Oh well, enjoy Eastern Shore and Delaware!

This was supposed to produce a lot more in places like York and Lancaster PA (above Mason Dixon Line). Seems everything is much further east than projected.

Looking at radar I don’t think this will overperform for most. I think it is a general 2-4” with the South Jersey shore being the one place that might see higher totals in a couple spots.

It's actually rain down there so you're not missing anything. Washington DC is rain and freezing rain now. You may be in the sweet spot SENJ.

A bore fest here with flurries to occasional light snow, but I expected nothing so I can't say I'm disappointed.

Re: 02/20 Snow Event - Largest Snowfall Since November?
I have about an inch here. Maybe just over. It really decreased in intensity after the first couple hours. If it continues at this rate for another couple hours I’ll end up at or just below 2” I think. My initial 1-3” call seems to have been a good guess.

Re: 02/20 Snow Event - Largest Snowfall Since November?
It’s been snowing for almost 4 hours now and I only have 1.25” on the ground. There was a lull of extremely light snow for quite awhile, but it has really picked up again in the last few minutes.

What’s that I hear? The gentle rapping of sleet at the door? Nonetheless, a Beautiful front end thump...perfectly timed to my liking.

Re: 02/20 Snow Event - Largest Snowfall Since November?
I would say we have about 2-2.5 inches on the ground here in Hopatcong NJ. It really went into a lull between about 1pm-2pm but its been falling at a moderate clip since then. I can't complain. I made it home from work safe (as well as my wife) so we didn't have a repeat of our incident last winter. Got a full bottle of Jameson and some nice beer. Let it snow.
Again, I can't complain.
