September disco and observation

Leaves up here are changing (curling up, falling off) without vibrant colors. It is 56 here at about 9 am with a cloudy sky I have heard some chitter (and some chatter) around the water cooler that while some say a drop in temps in Oct, some say a return to air conditioner hot weather for a spell. Does anyone have a handle on the temps coming up as best as can be prognosticated?

The Euro has record-breaking highs next Tuesday and Wednesday in the 90s which would be a plus 25 departure. Saturday also looks to be very warm. It's all going to depend how far north the warm front gets and if we see any sunshine otherwise I take the under on those Temps

If the euro is right we would go from the 90s on Wednesday to the 50s on Friday for high Temps.

It did look like temps will cool off the weekend of 5th-6th, but I don't trust temp forecasts this far out. Cooler/warmer yes, but specifics 50's/60's not really.

Here in upper Orange County, a drenching, steady rain. We needed it after drying out for three weeks.

We’re now inside of 7 days to the pattern change. I also am skeptical of temperature forecasts and pattern change forecasts more than ten days out (I.e. “it’s coming in a few weeks”); but inside of 7 days it’s really moving more into the realm of a short-range forecast and therefore more reliable. So I do think after an unusually hot couple days mid-week, we’re going to go slightly below normal at the end of next week. Plus, its the time of the year where we’d expect these chillier nights anyway.

68* and Clear. Beautiful evening. Brief warm-up mid-week flirts with 90* Wednesday then several days of highs in the 60s.

Frost and Freeze advisories are looking likely posted next weekend for many in NWNJ and LHV regions from looks of this pattern upcoming. After a week of summer temps.

Yesterday was a bit warm. It got up to 77 and with the south sun and a houseful of people, the air conditioner was a blessing. I see the forecast for Wed to be backing off of higher temps. I look forward to the first frost so any crab grass gets zapped

Tallahassee finished the entire month of September without measurable precipitation for the first time on record (back to ~1890 ish). In fact, is been nearly 40 days since the last recorded measurable precipitation. Not only that, but we are still routinely reaching near 100 F even as the sun angle decreases as a result of the lack of soil moisture. Basically, this ridge needs to go away....

High today of 80. It looks like we will miss tomorrow's heat up here.

Friday night it looks like we may have our first frost.

Cold front is through, temps going into the 50's tonight. Raw and rainy tomorrow true fall like feel after a July dog day of summer feel today.
