No wind this morning but still read 22* at me abode - Frank this is why it felt warmer this morning as well!

Okay heat island at its best - went to the Mecca of Sports no not the Pebble (Rock) or the Moselium but MSG - left the game at 10:30 and it was 40* drove to teh GW bridge and it was 38* crossed the bridge to Fort Ree and it was 36*, drove up teh Palisades and hit Alpine and it was 33* and got home to Hillsdale and it was 32* - HI (Heat Island) really something.

Two mornings in a row of 16 degrees which is the average low temperature in January.

Of course its April 6th and all of the flowering trees that bloomed a month early because of the incredibly warm March are wilting and probably won't flower this year.

For those of you that enjoyed the record warmth in March, no surprise here but I detested it, this is now the price we pay.

CP I 100000% on this - be careful fro what we wish for - those who like early warmth in March usually get bit in the arse later that month or in April and sometimes May with BDCF (back door cold fronts). I always say give me teh weather that is to be and we go on from there

I see wind advisories for the coast of NJ and LI, will this squall line bring windy conditions to the NYC area too? Not that I am holding my breath the wind warning last weekend was kinda a joke, though there were some pretty high gusts for the most part it was not anywhere as near as bad as they said it could be. Looks fairly intense, maybe some t-storms?

Another freeze watch is in effect for tom nite  with temp in the upper 20s to lower 30s .enough already

it's a beautiful 39* overcast.

Brief heavy snow shower here at 44*

Been light snow on and off here for a couple of hours. Temperature has been bewteen 39-40 the whole time.

So far I would trade this April as is, for the historically crappy December we had. And I don't mean I would just trade this pattern which BTW in December would be magnificent, I would trade the actual highs, lows, and snow we've had so far this month. Hopefully I never have the opportunity to make another statement like that in my lifetime.

So far the average temp in NYC this April has been 47.2 which is about 2 degrees below normal. In December it was 50.8 which is almost 14 degrees above normal. Weird to say the least.

Snow here around 12 o'clock for a few minutes - people I work with where like is it really snowing and why is it snowing now? I told them cause you all liked the warmth in the winter so Big Momma is saying take that!

This would have been a great pattern in any of our winter months but it wasn't so we move on.

This actually has some similarities to 2006-07 (of course, Joe Bastardi has mentioned this in his videos). For about a month from the second week of December to the second week of January, it did not go below freezing at CPK. On January 6th, 2007 during the afternoon, it was 72 degrees and sunny. In contrast, for about a week and a half in early to Mid-April, it was miserable cold. In fact, Easter was on this day in 2007. It was overcast with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s, and we even had flurries. It took until April 20th for us to get some warmth.

I just went for a walk in Midtown, it is downright uncomfortable outside (and I was wearing hat and gloves but I was still cold).

46° at Citifield, cloudy and breezy.... feels like the 20's!

what a raw day, high temp was 46° but boy it didn't feel it, wind went right through you as snow flurries zipped by... 44.6 currently

We went from sleet, to partly sunny skies and a little sunburn to a shower, to overcast and windy and back to sun yesterday at the Mets game. When the sun came out I took my jacket off it felt so warm....sorry don't know why pic is sideways...

Last year I was 12-3 with the losses in post season. 1-0 now, with 6 games booked from now til July... I may pick a few more games in the next few months if I can figure out how to park cheaper!

Last year I went to seven Met games: In the regular season: 6-0.  In the post-season: 0-1.

Yeah, for real. Worst spring ever continues.
