Easterly fetch brining in some mid-level warmth.  Sleet definitely mixed in. 850's are plenty cold, but until that warm air gets flushed out expect some sleet.

Reviewing the HRRR showing all of long Island changing over/mixing in 1/2 hour, LOL its not correct. Clearly not going to happen...

Zoo yes absolutely.
Visibility down to about 300' here. Wind swept snow here.
Those gravity waves I posted at 9amish well they foreshadowed what was to come.

temp was 35 all morning but has been steadily dropping, down to 32.7 but still a mix of rain and snow with more sleet mixed in now....i got to believe there is still hope for the coast down here!
