I may eclipse Doc on this one. He's about 6 miles west of me and I don't know if he made it into this band that's sat over eastern Orange County the last two hours. Best rates of the day.

I know other totals south and east are prolific but if I get to 10 it's an over performer for sure up here.

Your right, CP, that band just missed me.Trained spotter in Monroe logged 5.5 inches so going with that.Almost a foot on the ground plus we have 5 inches of solid concrete below. That will enable us to survive the snowpack attack coming later this week when temps torch and it rains.

We may not be seeing that so called Torch Doc. As Mugs pointed out earlier and Frank & RB too things are trending colder for mid late week. Not sure about that storm yet, seems like several scenarios are at play. Rain, ice, snow? Very complex setup. I do like those setups for our area though, as long as the models don't shove this to far south we might be in a good spot. Several days away though so this too shall change. Even this mornings GFS has it colder but still liquid for most of the forum.

Made it to 6 inches here as per trained spotter and was happy to get that.Almost a foot OTG with old snowpack.
So far NWS not buying anything but 40's and rain , but as you say CP, that could change.I am expecting everything to go S and E of us as this is the pattern that has been set this winter.Let's see if that changes in February and March. This season reminds me of the "snowmageddon " year when the big ones were all S of us.Have a friend In DE that has 10 inches more than me so far !

CP N DOC congrats on your SMecs......snowfall that be!! A combo of secs and men's. We pulled some weenie powers together for ya!

Hey and speaking of power, where is SROC with his total, or did I miss his post and video of takinga dive into the 4' snow drift?

I just want to take a moment and thank you all for your input on this board and the kind words. It is a rare bread of snow weenies that we are and I get it everyone wants to cash in after models say one thing and deliver another. A lesson of life and thank God,seriously, we can discuss, Banter, and have the abilities of some on this board as well as see su h a beautiful nature event.

Onto the next one and keep the faith!!
