September 2022 Observations and Discussions

I'm at about 2.1" since Sunday night, thankfully not much in the way of downpours, it's been slow and steady so really beneficial for me!

Yep, figure we will end up 2 to 2.5 inches of wonderful rain.Great it was mostly a nice, steady type with a few heavier showers, so there is no flooding.

1.64" and 2.21 since Sunday - this was exactly what was needed a steady rain!!

It is still raining pretty good up here so I am just eyeballing the rain gauge. This morning when I woke up, it has 1.5 inches in it. I would say now it is closer to 4.5 so yes, a goodly amount of rain has fallen today and steadily, not torrentially. It looks like it will rain some through the night. The rain total will go up by tomorrow morning. Just what the doctor ordered, all two of them on this board.

Yep Doc, I am looking at the NWS rainfall total for here and seems like only 1.5.Damian did much better up the road apiece from me.
Underperformed big time here, they were saying 2 to 4 inches plus.Still, any rain is appreciated.

62. From yesterday morning to now 2.5 inches. So counting back from Monday when the rain started: 4 inches total. I hope many of you got as much.

63* this morning, Fall like feel with the cloudy skies and wet ground!

Still raining here. All day. 63 degrees. Surprising to me that the rain has lasted so long. How nice for the water table.

Final amount is 2.30"

More wetness Sunday afternoon/evening and again Monday night late through Tuesday-GFS saying .5 - 1.5" - I'll take it.

Steady moderate rain here!! .15 so far.

LOL, Damian, the only thing I would use that for I can't mention on a family site.Not a fan of Russia or Russians.

I love it, never have I seen 2 pages of counting rain totals lmao, I thought we were snowing for a minute. We had a steady rain here last week and yesterday a little. Looks like might be more in the AM. I was getting worried cuz they were going to lower water pressures in my area and were even considering a entire shutoff for my zipcode, god could you imagine no water in a city I think we averted that though.

wow what a storm haven’t seen this much rain for a long time and the is insane

Picked up .98" overnight - including Sunday 1.38" of wetness plus the 2.30" last weekend 3.68" of MUCH NEEDED rains!!

My area showing lows possibly in upper 40s Friday morning and Saturday morning. Bring on those crisp Fall nights!

An Arctic Front for the end of September - would bring Lake effect Snows to the GL region. The perturbations of fall, seasons changing on weather models at work? Maybe.
