I live north of 84 by a few miles and We have about 7 inches. My hope worked. Seem the storm followed the trajectory ot was heading last night when I went to bed.

8 inches and 29deg here, really dumping down now too. seems your extra 450ft in elevation is worth 5 more inches this time!

Yep, it's definitely a drug to our kind.

The same effects, the bigger the dose the more euphoric. The big plus, no fear of death from an overdose.

It's literally pouring snow right now.

9.5 inches but it's easily 2-3 inches per hour atm. Will see how long this band stays overhead.

Haven't been posting in a while been busy moving. Back in hopewell jct. Have 8 and counting, what a surprise with all the models keeping the heaviest south of me.

6.5" OTG. Picked up a little over 2" in one hour. And that's less than ideal ratios IMO to give an idea of how dynamic this storm is.

I don't understand how I only have 2.5 with how hard it was snowing, letting up a bit right now. I dunno, what are the chances I even make it to 6? Seems models under did north areas big time and What looked to be the sweet spot, at least NYC metro way over done, it must be melting underneath as it comes down, not allowing it to accumulate. Been snowing heavy for 4+ hrs so thats a half inch per hr expect it was snowing over a inch per hr.

Yes, still blasting here at that rate here as well.Yesterday I would have been happy with 6 now we have a shot at a foot but 10 is a lock now.

30 degrees, wind swept heavy snow.

The 850 is closed and pulling off the coast. There will be a dramatic increase in snow ratios due to this.

Just keeps coming down. Dumping snow here. Mid-morning and cloud deck is so thick and snow is so heavy it’s almost dusk-like.

mugs only around 2.5, was expecting I would have myuch more by now with how hard it has been snowing (must be really poor rations?), do you think I need to worry, will I get above 6? Per that map I have a long ways to go to make 10-12 (and isn't this ending in less than 3 hrs, about 12?). Either way I get to start at 11 and work from home.

WOW. I put a ruler out 30 minutes ago, was at 7 inches on the dot. Just checked-- eclipsed 8 inches now. 2 inch/hour rates confirmed here in Hopatcong! Plows seems to have given up for now, it's blitzing.

I have also noticed an uptick in winds over the last hour, and they seem to be coming out of the North now. Possibly related to the 850 closing off and pulling away?

Dreaded area of subsidence has developed for areas stuck between extreme banding. I mentioned this would happen in my write up. It will fill in eventually as the deform continues to develop
