We would need a perfect pattern for a roidzilla. A large PNA ridge, preferably a -nao moving towards positive but still negative and southern branch of the jet involvement.

Lol I always hope they do but sometimes they don't and it drives me nuts!! They better this time! Our climo records are off bc of a "zoo keeper". I find that to be insane

I believe they haven't taken either at JFK and LGA since 7pm.

Its snowing a tiny bit here in Yonkers again just a flurry compared to before.

For those of you taking measurements in the morning, a lot of the time the snow "settles" ° little bit and you might end up with slightly less of a total then if you measured now (that's assuming no snow falls after this post). Those of you in Suffolk (especially eastern suff) should probably wait until morning as your area looks to pick up a bit more overnight.

So then I am making my total a solid 10-11 inches call it 10.5, another report from public in my town says 9.3 but thats low. Its def 10 or a bit over.

But I will still measure in the morning on the car which is cleared off if there is anything more and add it on. There really has been no wind here.

With 10 inches tonight from this storm, I now have 27 inches of snow on the season. Pretty nice.

Still snowing in Franklin Square. Poked my head out of the side door and it is seriously coooold out there. Lots of drifting and can't see a reliably level place to measure, looks like a foot give or take. Will not be going to work in NYC today, hope the office closes, but either way it's going to be a long cold shovel out day for me.
