SNOW MAN wrote:Frank do you think they will break the record ? Most of the NY Mets early this morning were saying no way it will happen. Pretty bold statement for a winter that keeps on giving us snow.
I gave it a 15% chance the other day. Still leaving it at that. Giving it a 90% chance that CPK makes top 3.

Breaking News.......it is snowing again........the radars have had enough of this winter season!!docstox12 wrote:CPcantmeasuresnow wrote:Light to occasionally moderate snow now. Hard to figure this out from the radars.
The batch in eastern PA that I thought would fall apart looks like it's building again. It may stay together to hit NNJ and HV with another burst.
Radar has me baffled.Shows nothing but I have light to moderate snow here.
Thinking the same about that PA area headed this way.Maybe this thing is throwing back a little more energy.
HAHAHA!!
Okay good morning all! Three star ha- mam-ee Mugs reporting 2" of new fresh powder at 28.4*.
The models were/ are so inconsistent with this storm. Let's hope they regroup this week and melt off the ice pack in their circuits and get ready for the latter part and possibly the biggest part of the winter season. I don't know about you but I want the gold!!

Currently sitting at 2". Surface temp at 35.6 up a degree from the last hr. Still snowing but going to have a hard time accumulating with those temps. I'm already surprised

Same here.Steady light to moderate snow and radar looks good for a while here.NWS bumped from 1 to 3 to 2 to 4 for the day.Maybe a shot at 3 inches here.

Moderate snow still. I'll definitely make 2 if not there already. Looked like no shot at that a couple of hours ago.

This 62 inches puts me in fourth place for the snowiest winter here since 88-89 when I started measuring.

13-14-62" to date
Think it's fair to say this winter can easily jump to number 2 in Mahwah.Only need over 5 inches to do it! Long shot at the "king" 95-96 as well.

Hey Doc, you think Hillsdale has a shot at their 99 inch record?

Another one in the books, as they say. What started out as moderate snow at 5am turned into what looked like dandruff around 7am, then stopped completely around 10am. Now the sun is out, it's 34º, and things are starting to melt again. Time to get ready for more noisy icicle drops in the alley.

LOL, now I know how CP felt before he straightened out the Zookeeper.
A friend of mine saw that guy who measured the 99 inches in Hillsdale walking past Lou's.He had dark glasses, a cane with a white tip and a dog.
