East central jersey has been getting clobbered for about an hour in that little cell. probably 1 maybe 2 inches there already

I have a feeling it'll will be less snow than predicted except for eastern LI. Its too mild to stick unless a period of very heavy snow comes thru. Will any band like that make it west of Suffolk?

All those Bands are from the Clipper, Storm just starting to develop, later on this afternoon we will see the bands from the storm develop

Light Flurries out here in Wading River.  Joe Snow I like that MSLP 500MB overlay above.  What site is that?

It's a program I have GREarth great product, with a feed from Allison House (they distribute direct feeds from the NWS radars as well as other Radars Military and Airports)

I can do a lot of cool stuff with it.........

Ahh I have GREarth saved in my favorites on my home comp from last summer. I was looking into the 3D aspects of it for tracking hail, thunder, and tornado stuff. May have to revisit that again. Thanks. Welcome to the board BTW.

We went from light, to fairly heavy a half hour later, and here we are, almost 2 hours later, and the temp is still 33, there was no sticking on streets or sidewalks during all that time, and it's back to light flurries again.

Temperatures slightly above freezing, treated roads just wet and my driveway and walkway and deck are slushy.

Went from big flakes on Staten Island (started at 10:00), to much smaller flakes, not sticking to the street at all. Small spot sticking on sidewalks.

It's not really east or west it's just coming apart, precipitation is not nearly as robust as models were showing, stopped snowing here entirely for now. Strength of the low means nothing.

Was snowing hard in ft lee but now has stopped, cant see the planes at teterboro airport complete fog so it must be snowing heavy there
