I usually keep my bathroom window open to keep air flowing and lower the humidity from the shower and I just went it to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and had to shut it because it was so cold in there. Weather station reading 39 here at 6am, winter she comes...

NY stop of Merrell down and dirty obstacle race thru the mud is today @ orchard bch..chilly day for it but LI sound water temps are still mild. Ppl jump in to warm up.

54* now - up at Octoberfest at Near Mountain today - woop woop great day!

Mugs, love it up here, Bergen County getting too busy and crowded for me.I'll still be working on the Mahwah House 6 months getting it in shape for sale so I'll still be a part-time Bergen County Resident.

Yes, I expect total war with SNOW and CP.Scorched earth all the way.Will be getting a digitalwireless weather station next week and hook it up.My armies are fueled, armed and ready!

OK, thanks Frank.Glad the map will be fine tuned for the winter storms just around the corner.

Yea I am going to find a way to see if I can overlap snow maps on it...would help everyone figure out what I am predicting for there area during a storm. All they have to do is click on their name and it will take them to the proper shading of the legend. Example: blue shading means 6-12 inches, or whatever.

Down to 42.1F already here under moonlit skies. Calm winds - the big key. Without a doubt the coldest night of the season so far (last night was 41.4).



If all goes well I'll be using my nose drippings as icicle chopsticks by morning.

Down to 41 here on the north shore of LI. Maybe ill make it into the 30s!

39.3 as of 11:45 pm. Hoping to beat this mornings low of 34.7.

Also hoping to beat tomorrow mornings low from my friend the affable Snow man and my good friend and fellow HV resident the amiable Docstox. A shout out to my other good friend Amugs who until he moves from the tropics of Bergen county will never be a contender.

Although I love OTI it is good to be back with the mainlanders for another winter. Let the snow begin.

Accuweather has my first snowfall for November 5th and we all know how reliable their 45 day forecast is.

Frank when's the first snow map coming out? I can't wait. I also love the new enhancements to the web site. Great job as always.
