Jeff Smith and I just tweeted back and forth and he is also BLOWN AWAY by the CMC run. Said if it verified it would rival 1978.

All i can say to the cmc is WOW and the fact that it agrees with euro, although slightly more in some places, just wow this is beyond surreal.

These snow maps are all 10:1 ratios. If the QPf on them verifies were looking at higher amounts than shown in most places. That could even things up a bit inland and multiply many by 1.5 maybe more.

oldtimer as frank said thats the floor but many could and looks more likely to see a few feet or more even in extreme.
