So, yea. Euro is about 30-40 inches of snow for NYC east-northeast with hurricane force winds.

If this storm pans out for NYC like this the city will be immobilized for some time, this could be a def state of emergency lots going to happen tomorrow. And I am not trying to hype I honestly believe that this is going to be huge problems.

Well that is a big diff if NYC verifies at 40 inches plus, LI may see what 30? Still crushing, I do not think anyone from just west of NYC on east should be disappointed. When do you think it would be safe to post snow maps to my FB accunt as people do not really believe me. I do not want to cause hype, but my acct. is closed to friends only.

omg oldtimer i never even thought of that, i can guess there will be widespread outage even into nyc area, more north where there are more trees and the drifts we may be stranded, likely if those drifts pile on the doors. Worried for the sick and elderly. No way for emergency to get to people. I just hope to god that this trend stays, what do you think frank, oldtimer who ever is left here is this close to if not already a lock?

I would not say this is set in stone, as the energy that will be involved with the phase won't be onshore of the North American continent until tomorrow (well, I guess later this morning lol). I personally would not be surprised to see this come west a bit with tomorrow's 12z runs and later, once they get that energy sampled.
