Not sure Snow Man.  If I had to guess it would prob be too far east for anything substantial.  Most of the time the area between the primary and the newly forming secondary drys out because of the divergence that occurs in between the two.  It depends on how fast thje transfer occurs and where. The first signs are there for redevelopment taking place, but we will see how long it takes to actually take place.  Once that happens we will have to see where CCB bands set up.   Most likely to far N and E for most of us.  Prob over C Ct and points east of there.  I am hoping eastern half of LI can get into a little something, but we shall see as the morning progresses.  The transfer could take 6hrs or more to complete.

Thanks Sroc for your answer. I'm sorry it took so long to reply, but I was out shoveling and snow blowing and I just got back inside.
I ended up with 9 inches. I'd have to say that all of the members that did snow total maps nailed it. I didn't get any mixing. You all did a GREAT job as usual.
Thanks for all of your hard work. Now lets start looking at the next event. WOOO HOOO !!!

Post by Guest Mon Feb 02, 2015 3:31 pm

My son and daughter told me to relax. They said dad everyone is upset we're missing the snow so I said I would stay on here. Maybe all our nerves and tempers were a little shot yesterday..... and now that it's snowing we all feel a little better.

Got 4 inches here last night to bring my yearly total up to 41.8" then rain and sleet and freezing rain about .10" total. At 2 p.m. it changed back to snow and right now as of 3:30 we have easily over 3 inches on top of the ice and based on the radar should approach 5" by the time it stops around 5:00. The ratios are incredibly high and the snow is pure powder at 24 degrees and dropping fast.

I would think the proper place for Doc to post the video would be the Snow Weenie Off Topic thread.I'd be willing to cut Doc a deal....50% of the tourist vuisa revenues which will skyrocket when the video is shown on OTI screens.

Some windblown snow now and then.Getting set for temp crash dive.

Final cleanup done, 10.6 inches for final tally.

The ones that over perform are by far the sweetest.

I'm shocked to see Syos is back on posting again, I was sure the " I'm deleting my account and I'm never coming back" yesterday meant he would be gone for at least 24 hours.

Welcome back my friend.
