CP, we would have signed Frank's form for that 10.6 in a heartbeat yesterday the way this thing looked to bust out.More threats imminent.We have a four foot picket fence out back.Coming up to snow covering it halfway!

Done snowing. Measured in 3 different spots 5.5" of absolute fluff which came down in a little under 3 hours. No exaggeration I swear. Unbelievable ratios.

Got the same thing. Last hour dropped 2" of beautiful powdery snow. Now the wind is kicking up. It feels really good for a storm to over perform.

3.5 inches in central park as of 4pm. This is an utter outrage! They can't get one storm total right ever. Who can I complain to?

CPK comes in with 3.5" That's after the afternoon burst. The overnight snow seems under counted. (CPK also recorded .11 ice.)

LGA 6.4"
JFK 4.4" How JFK ends up with more than CPK I dont know.

The overnight snow plus the afternoon snow I totaled just over 7"

WOW. Just stopped completely. 6" of fluff after the 4" this morning and lots of ice in between! Storm total of 10"!!!! What a nice surprise!

I tries to get a snow total today but the 3 places I check were so disparate ie, icy sleet, snow and ice according to where I placed them. I have to keep practicing til I trust myself to put totals on this board.

After all is now said and done 3" this morning and an additional 4.2" this afternoon for a total of 7.2" I am not complaining Ah-Tall. What a pleasure that just was to shovel. Light and fluffy. Time for the next one.

right now 24 degrees (real feel 12)
I measured when I went out to shovel(2 inches of powder that fell this afternoon.
plus the 3 inches at 3am
not a bad day overall for snow!

Down to sparse flurries now. Guesstimate is 3-4 this morning and 4 more this evening. Shoveled out again, feels seriously c-o-l-d already and very icy on sidewalks and driveway. It's laughing at my ice melt in these temps, and, my street hasn't been plowed at all after the pm round of snow...

I've been in a nice moderate to heavy snow squall for almost an hour now, looks like it's actually forming right off of the mountains to the north and west of me on the Orange/Rockland county border.
