It started lightly snowing here, looks like a light band is setting up over southern WC. I am in the library working on my paper next to the window.

Snowing here in Bergen County...very squally, no accumulations yet. I like how we are just on the western fringe of that hrrr!

It's been moderately snowing for a few hours now here, but there's little to no stickage

stopped snowing here in Syosset an hour ago. Everything melted. Now starting up again. Saw cars coming from the east with 2 to 3" on them!!!

This is the Li one. More exciting

Very windy, sunny and 33 degrees here in Hackettstown. The wind making it colder of course.
Still some spots of snow. Taking two of my granddaughters to the Holiday Inn in Rockaway to stay overnight and swim in the heated pool. For everyone with snow enjoy!

29.8, moderate snow for the last half hour, grassy areas finally sticking.

Enough already to declare at least 0.2 inches today to get me to 70.

Light snow since 11, moderate since 12:15.

To bad this wasn't at night.

Right around 2" on the grass, moderate snow but not accumulating anymore.

I thought I'd better use the CP measurement for the HV and am at 69.8.However, it has been snowing hard up here and there is at least 1/2 inch on a few isolated surfaces so I am updating my total to 70.3 inches!!!

LOL I agree, but I am kinda glad as I have focus on a 15-20 page paper due Wed! Frank will next weekends storm be intense? Or weaker like runs showed last night? Some runs have shown a sub 990mb system.

I'm with your doc, I measured 0.4 inches a half hour ago but let's go with a half-inch it'll make up for the inch thats melted as it's falling today. I have a feeling will still be getting a little more before the middle of April.

You win! no accumulation at all here.

Cool sight here, tops of the mountains in my area have a solid coating while there's nothing at all down here.

Yep, snow, those are the Ramapo Mountains and they are a bit higher than Mahwah itself.I remember a storm back in the 90's where the top of one mountain on Stag Hill road got 9 inches and Mahwah itself got hardly a thing! It was confirmed by some of the Mountain People who were my patients back in those days.All elevation dependent!

Snowing steadily here for 12 hours. Had 1/2" at 9:00 a.m. on colder surfaces since then nothing with light to moderate snow all day.

Not much difference here syos.  We had light to moderate snow from 11 to 4. Accumulated a half inch on the grass during a prolonged moderate period from 12 to 12:45. Nothing accumulted since except most of the evergreen trees accumulted 2-3 inches. Am I allowed to count that?

Record lows look to be challenged tonight. Besides central park rec lows are low to mid 20s for urban areas.

Imagine if this were jan or Feb with this ivt?? Syo and Sroc would have seen 4-7"!!

If this were Jan Feb Mugs I would have had 8-10". It has been snowing all day and I'm at 3.5" on grass. And I measured 3" like 3-4 hrs ago. Here is a couple of pics from my bedroom window from earlier.

Snow had stopped a few hours then started up light/moderate for an hour or so.Coating on everything.

LOL, Mugsy.Can tell you a lot of Stag Hill "Ramapough Indian" stories.

Starting to accumulate again now sun is down

Sroc wow LI FTW this winter amazing and we are not done yet!!

Doc, I would love to here some for I have a few as well. One toof hammamies from that hill!!

34* and windy feels like January, not this December cause it was it this cold.

Wow CP, what's your elevation? I got nada here although the flurries are starting to stick to cars now. Was snowing light to moderately all day but no accumulation. Probably was very elevation dependent around our area.
