If you noticed my winter prediction of Doc near where you live as having the most snow, I have not bought into what most members are predicting for highest snow totals.I think this S and E trend of the last 4 or 5 years is still in place until it's decidedly broken.You may get to use that emoji after the season my friend!

I'm a guy that is pretty sensitive to cold weather.  Well, here in NYC, it's November 6th after 11 PM and I am wearing a short sleeve shirt with the window open and feels sooooo nice out!!!


However, the first "mild day" of many of the 2011-12 snow season happened on this very day.  And before you know it exactly one week later on the 13th on the old accu-weather chat board, user philschmaltz posted a thread entitled "What a day, enjoy! Mild winter coming!" and praised Tom's posts about the concerns he had about no signs of sustained chilly air coming in, ending the post "Schmaltzie".  Like with every "troll" post he made, a user replied with a youtube video with cricket sounds.  


For the sake of this board, we need this warm pattern to shift to cold during the winter.  I do agree with pretty much everything Frank mentioned in his 2015-16 Winter outlook so we should have some fun!

My house is dead center in the only spot on LI with accumulating snow on this fantasy map!! and my parents up in Ulster county are right in the center of the tiny purple blob. It's almost like I created this map myself.

@Snow - Let it - more snow pack for when our cross polar and arctic blasts come through over this terrain it will not moderate. Look at the snow pack that is building in Southern Canada that was bare last week in this region.
