20*winds 22mph real feel 6*

Winds have picked up big time. Now getting into single digit windchills.

Snow squall with whipping winds here atm.

Picked up a light dusting last night.

16* 15mph NW winds wind chill 1* coating of snow on the ground

I just had a fabulous snow squall. It looked like a blizzard. Just enough to cover the dirty snow. No way to measure it.

I just tried CP. The picnic table is clear of snow as is another small table I use. It's the wind.
I've been called a lot of things in my life but "Zookeeper" cut to the quick. I do resemble that remark in this case!

0 degrees forecast for early Sunday morning. Windchill at -19. It may not make the record books but I'll remember it.

Dropped from 24 this morning at 11:00 am to 19 now at 2:30

Let's use CPs thread to record temps from this point forward.

It'd be nice to see the 2.0" or more QPF were getting Monday night and Tuesday come in tomorrow over the top of this record cold air. 20:1+ ratios. One can only dream

Does anybody think that this will be the last of the bitter Artic air for this season ?

Good question. Bitter? Yes I think so. But I still see some nights of single digits possible for areas where you live and the HV the end of Feb. For everyone else I think we won't see this type of widespread cold again

Going into today this February is till 2.2 degrees above normal.

The good new is after todays -1 low and high in the teens is factored in February should be near normal maybe 1/10 of a degree or two above.

The bad new is after the torch hits again Tuesday we're back to above normal for the month.

Weirdest winter ever.
