Notice the Thursday night into Friday morning temps. For me, 10 degrees. Lots of wet snow falling through the day and into the evening, heavy snow, then very cold temps. Could do evil things.

Yeah, this is one you won't want to wait until the next morning to shovel. Get it tomorrow evening while it's still moveable. Unless you have a jackhammer and enjoy shoveling ice blocks.

People everyone needs to relax and enjoy!!! Stop with the IMBY questions!!
Every member of this forum looks to receive 6"+ Some will get 12"+. No matter Relax. No one knows for sure where the bands will set up. Also S Jersey folks are in a WS Warning for 6"+ as well so that is GREAT for them. Just enjoy!

This reminds me of last Jan. 22-23 as it seems to keep ramping up.

I think you're right, thanks.

Syo I agree I shouldn't complain as this storm was no where to be seen a week ago
Re: February 9th Godzilla: Fast & Furious Storm
I saw the the NAM map and then the Para Nam. I understand what the NAM is but unfamiliar with the term PARA. I tried to google PARA NAM but the results were all for PARA meaning in sanskirt. If it's not too involved could someone tell me what the term PARA means in relation to the NAM.

I need a percentage of how possible is it that NYC schools will be closed. I got people attacking me at work over this. That Rgem made it way more likely. It was a thing of beauty.

Looking at the trends of the RGEM, based on the precip field it looks like it's STILL correcting itself. Further northwest extension of the entire field, but also of the heavier banding. Crazy.

Says the man sitting in the jackpot on several runs. Let's see you with the same attitude if you get caught in an area of subsidence, yes I said it, subsidence.
What is this a case of do as I say not as I do?
