Hopewell jct hyde just north of 84 near fishkill. Getting a snow sleet mix it might stay south of you big flakes too!!

For me this continues to be almost entirely a rain event. Congrats to those getting a nice shot of snow today! (or even sleet which is better than plain rain -- although not freezing rain, frz rain is the one type of winter weather I do NOT like or wish for).

27.3 and every precip type now falling. Probably a good time to get a final measurement as it looks like accumulating snow may be over here.

Notice how the ice/rain line in Queens/Nassau seemingly corresponds with the hill I brought up last night. Seems to never fail....

Jim, I'm about 20 miles north of you. I think we will eventually change over or mix with sleet but by that time most of the heavier precip will be over. I think we get to 6 before that happens.

Just sleet here now and 27.3 degrees, maybe the sleet gets me to 4 we shall see.

From the radar CP, looks like this is going to end very soon unless the storm pivots and backfills.

1.5" snow, about an inch of sleet, and .2" or so freezing rain. Really hard to measure with all the mixing, but I think these are pretty good numbers....
