I live 0.75miles from my office in Wading River. My office is in the Township of Riverhead, and my house in the Town ship of Brookhaven. So right on the boarder. You have to smell the rain Mugsy ol pal....

50* and Cloudy. Will have to drop quickly for this not to start as some light rain before the change to all snow.

yes doc the one thing being overlooked is how cold it's going to be for the next week departures - 10 to 20. Cp this month finally has a chance to break the positive departures over the last 20 some odd months

Looks like 7 - 10 consecutive below normal days..many of them well below norm. When was the last time thats happend??
What would be funny is if March has more freezing low temps than Jan or Feb.

You raise an interesting point. CP has been tracking some ridiculous number of consecutive months with above normal temps, but with this stretch coming up, we look to be below normal for all of mid-March. Could this month break the streak??

This weekend temps progged for single digits and the next week to 10 days looks to be BN highs and lows. Put a snopack down and nights go down a good few degrees

Snowpack would definitely pro-long or deepen this below normal/cold spell.

For me going to Tuesday only 1 day above 32 and it will be 33* every night in the low teens

10 degrees plus BN the next few days

This March would only have to be a couple of degrees below normal to end up with an average temperature below this past torch of a February. It would be a nice way to finally end this streak of above normal months.

850 line pushing SE here. 0c line IN NW NJ temps dive soon and this pushing SE prarty fast. Good sign.

I admit not paying this storm tomorrow much mind (in large part because I think the warm ground conditions are going to spoil the accumulation, but also because I'm so focused on next Tuesday), but this storm does have some oomph as there are a number of tornado warnings being issued in KY, TN, and MO.
