I just watched the weather channel and they are calling Phily and area for 14-18 inches all the up to NY city.

Uh oh the fact frank needs more time tells me he is not so confident in the larger totals at the coast. He's trying to find a way to break it to us gently.

Earlier TWC was suggesting mixing through a large swath of LI. Nowy the have moved it to Montauk. You have to smell the rain. Frank's looking for a way to gently tell his fellow NJians they won't be Jackpot and LI will be. Lol

Honestly, given model trends, if would not surprise me if I here in Bellerose get 6-10" at the front end, then changes to sleet. When the sleet ends, I get into a dry slot which would mean I am done with the snow. That's the unfortunate nature of Miller B's.

I think a lot of people see the possibilites of how much snow they can get, and then set in stone in their minds is that number. When in reality that number is only potential. If that makes sense

With the dynamics involved, as illustrated by the numerous model outputs, i don't see how you can be anything but positive! It's gonna be a great storm to watch develop, and it has great potential for everyone.
