Latest forecast totals from Upton. I guess they are seeing something I am not for us out east lol. We would need 4 more inches to get that amount

about 2" outside. eyeballing probably a little less than 2. ice is worse than the snow really. no more snow falling currently

About 3 it's been a non event for an hour nothing coming down

4.5 inches..doing nothing right now...just really pretty out with snow all over the trees...edited ...went into the yard front and back I had miss measured...not bad for a first snow storm!! and December to boot

About 3.5" on grassy areas, 2 or so on paved areas, still snowing and 30.9°

Eyeballing over 4 inches here in Monroe NY still light snow coming down.Radar looks like a few hours more to go.May make that 5 inch mark yet.Very pleased with this storm and seeing a few more snow chances the coming week WITH cold air coming in.28 degrees, barometer down to 29.33.

Beautiful, but heavier to shovel than I expected.  We have about 2.5-3 inches here.  Still snowing.

28* and still snowing in Hyde Park. Been snowing steadily since 11am, pushing 5 inches. Western edge of precip starting to break up so shouldn't be too much longer but it definitely over performed north and west.

As of 7 PM:

CPK: 3.9"
EWR: 3.6"
LGA: 4.4"
JFK: 2.6"

The JFK measurement may be suspicious but here in Southern Queens, it has been both slightly warmer and occasionally dry-slotted. At around 7:30, I made a snowfall measurement of 3" here in Bellerose, which is just south of the hill (James, you know what I mean). Now, we have since gotten into slightly more intense snow so that should add on the accumulations.

Also, with the 3.9" so far, the 2017-18 season has overtaken the bottom three (1972-73's 2.8", 2001-02's 3.5", and 1918-19's 3.8")

Well I'm above 4 inches and still going. It's not ending this evening look at radar. Wwa says 4am. 1 to 2 more would prolly put me over 6. Nice

I can see 6 happening. Hey early start prolly means above average for year. Hope you had a good day we got out and played for a while earlier my daughter lives snow. A weenie in the making lol

Coming down heavy!

Just got back from dinner. A little over 4” on the grass and colder surfaces. 1.5” on the paved surfaces. Best snow of the day coming down now. Another 1-2” and I’ll wind up really pleased. 4-6” isolated 7” area wide. Not bad.

In some of the heavier snow bands as we speak!
