Yeah she took a hard hit in the drivers door but her subaru held up thank god.
I can't even describe how bad it is here. I've lived in hopatcong for 4+ years and this is easily the worst storm I've seen.
Can anyone provide a brief update on the way things are progressing with the system? Can I expect this to continue in Sussex county for the foreseeable future? I'm sorry but between dealing with the police and driving I feel like I'm out of the loop. Is it this bad other places?

I made it home from West Caldwell. It is blizzarding in Hopatcong. Have to have over a foot by now but impossible to tell.
My girlfriend was t-boned by an out of control plow truck. On my way to get her I slid into a pole. So we now have two damaged vehicles but we are both okay.
DO NOT DRIVE IN SUSSEX COUNTY.
Why no pics from all you folks getting bombed on? Glad everyone is ok in the accident

I can try in a bit but it's literally white-out here. My windows are caked with snow and a picture would just show a blurry grey mess. Plus I'm now dealing with insurance claims so a bit preoccupied!
I will try to snap something and post it here.

All other counties less than 1%

The moisture feed coming westward off of the ocean into eastern Massachusetts looks incredible. Relentless heavy precip.

I think you are going to get snow Greybeard when this moves east and when you do it's going to RIP!.From looking at this radar, it appears the precip shield moved south and west,LOL.I guess they were not kidding about that retrograde movement.

Re: March 2nd Nor'easter Update
34* with snow and a little sleet mixed in, about 5 inches OTG. I would like to know the reason for that area of rain just to my west and NW. I spoke to someone who lives in Kingston in Ulster county and they said they have no snow, just rain and wind and they have no power. Any answers to why that area of rain has been so persistent? Anybody?

My parents are over a foot with visibility remaining below 100 yards WITH LITTLE WIND back home in Pa......lucky bastards. As usual, the best eludes me lol

Re: March 2nd Nor'easter Update
White Plains, winds are unrelenting...howling wind. Snow is whipping sideways. 61 mph here. If we had any cold air with this storm it would have been absolutely ridiculous conditions.

After all the time and effort you put into this storm, that's just not fair. Me thinks a visit back home is in order.
