Bernie Rayno is confident this system gets driven out, non-issue for mid-Atlantic but did say eastern New England needs to pay attention on Tuesday for back-end of storm.

Look Al, you are a good guy, but I don't want anymore snow. It is almost all melted here and I need to get back to work that is steady instead of a little here and there. Unless you want to send me money...

I wonder why the mets are thinking this will be a miss? All the ensembles have been steadily trended westward. Even the RGEM and ICON are huge hits; not to mention the 18Z GFS at 500mb is a hair away from a big time phase. I guess they see something in the pattern we're missing. I don't get it.amugs wrote:Your banned and exiled tonOTI till.next November, here your warning.mikeypizano wrote:RJB8525 wrote:jimv45 wrote:Jeff Smith seemed very confident that it will be a miss.

I know nuts I am at a loss in a sense. They either believe the northern pice shunts it out and captures to late or the southern energy runs out way to fast. I have other pro mets saying we are a hair away from Quinn part 2. I am not looking at OP runs at this time but ens and h5.
I like the trends and we need and few more and we should be good. Remember the HECS a few days ago models had. Same dance HECS to OTS to bring it back. Having Frank harping along with Sroc and rb is a great sign.

I like the notion hardly anyone thinks this will be a hitter for the tri-state region. That tune will change by tomorrow evening.

This storm will trend north and west
We have seen this story play out over and over again with Miller A storms.

All rising
Pattern supports a big storm

Just watched the Mets at Penn State and they agree with Bernie OTS. But for New England it could be a close call. They also said in their 12 day trends segment that there would be a chance for a significant storm that could bring snow around the first day of Spring. Lets hope so.

I am no one to bash you guys as your analysis is great but I have yet to see anyone else met, board form facebook etc say that this will come even close. even accuwx is clear and they always show weird extremes. I really hope we see a crazy hit but we have less than 48 hrs before frank pulls the plug, and thats calling it aweful close to have everything fall in line unless its a super last minute storm that catches everyone and their mother off guard. Not going by any models or anyones analysis bit I just do not get the vibe that this will be big or even small but wishing it in maybe that will work.

Okay if no one of the admins shouts this out as banter I am leaving the forum!! You guys have called me out on far lessmikeypizano wrote:I heard the Red Sox are going to destroy the Yankees this year in the World Series!
Ok, just kidding... DON'T KILL ME!
There is a serious side to this post: How many times have the models done this? Show a huge storm coming, then it shifts, or fizzles out... I am just trying to be realistic here guys...
