#fakenews on the sleet. I’m not concerned. Even if half the storm is sleet I’ll still eek out 6-8” which town here in springtime is awesome

looks like 3km nam is a huge rain storm for wave 1 at least. Not good if we see heavy wet snow after for trees and saturated ground.

Hi res NAM is colder. Again, NAM is only model showing THIS much sleet. If the low is too tucked in then easterly winds would be an issue. But areas well N&W of NYC would get crushed. Most would benefit with a track just east of the BM to spread the love. 

We'll see what tomorrow brings. Night.

3km nam has a huge ice storm central NJ south up to .75 fzr yikes

I think the NAM bullseye is too far west and sleet maybe overdone for nyc and western/north shore LI. I expect everything on there to shift east a tad. Otherwise things looking good on it. I’m going to retire to my bed chamber for a long night’s slumber. Say g’night Bill. “G’night Bill.”

precip types seperated 3km nam. little rain which is good, but that means a sheet of ice or sleet under the snow for all....

Thats a really sharp cutoff in precip north of 84 on the 3k. Way to close for comfort for me.
