Haha, yes. I meant it will not be a heavy wet snow. Not like last storm. Should help with power issues

8am to 4am is a pretty long duration. Some out on LI may go to 6am.

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations
Pretty boy Lonnie Quinn has his sleeves rolled up. He said NYC has never seen a storm after March 15th. of more than 10 inches. Is that true?

Check the statistics thread. CP and others have all that info in there

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations
Frank is this a double barrel system or just an elongated low? When I toggle through the hours especially on the NAM and other hi-res models the low center jumps around.

Double barrel low. 2 well defined centers.
The vorticity is all over the place but there was enough held back to produce another low near the coast. If the EPO was not negative we would be waving to a coastal storm instead of relishing in one.

Re: March Madness! Spring Snowstorm Observations
I've got to tip my hat to you Frank. You had forecast what we all could look forward to in march back in mid February when everybody was down on how bad a winter had been. Very impressive. Could you pm me some lotto numbers to play?
