The tropical conveyer belt is setting up over the area. Heavy rains moving in. Just in time for my morning commute.

Lol flood watch for 2 to 4 last night? More like .02 to .04 was almost no rain at all.

Same here out on the island jman. They've been calling for severe thunderstorms and heavy downpours all week, but I've yet to see a bolt of lightning, nor have I heard a clap of thunder.

Shout out to rb and any other Pennsylvania crew. Hope you all are high and dry. I saw on the news that Hershey Park really got blasted. Central PA. had  a rough week some places near a foot of rain.

They are sounding the alarm again for late tomorrow afternoon into the night for us...we shall see. I've always liked a good tstorm but haven't seen one yet all summer which seems a bit unusual.

Hey Greybeard!! Thanks for the shoutout!! As far as I can tell, it's been wet at home, but my parents haven't really mentioned anything of flooding in our locality. That said, it seems either side of the Susquehanna River Valley have received oodles and oodles of the stuff. I'm sorry I haven't been posting lately, but I've been having issues trying to post pictures and such, so I got flustered and stoppednfor a while. Do you know how hard it is to try to make points without images as supplementation?? Ahaha anywho, I have been checking in every once it a while and will hopefully be posting another video update within the next week or so for those of you who may be interested. Hope y'all are having a great summer so far, in spite of what has been a lackluster season with respect to any excitement (save a few standout cases) just think; we are steadily approaching Autumn!!!

An utter DELUGE here in Westchester currently...

In Stillwater Nj I hear lots of thunder but the sun is out here ! I think this is a broken up hit or miss storm, oh and it is very uncomfortable with the humidity, going back into the pool till the thunder gets closer!

Futurecast radar has a more structured line forming and coming through from 8-10 or so.

Just talked to my friend in Ft Lee and it is pouring there ! Here in Stillwater it actually got hotter , the sun is still out, hearing thunder coming from over the mountain in PA but here just blue sky’s and 90 degrees with 114.73 percent humidity .
Ok back in the pool with plenty of hydration fluid !

look at the mass of storms and flooding rains in DC area, thats all headed North. stuff just dies out as soon as it hits a invisible wall just south of nyc, weird.

Just got the TV siren saying severe thunderstorm watch til 10 pm , just lightly raining here .

Finally it let up raining it was pouring very heavy for 40 minutes I probably received an inch of rain. I wonder if this month Will be the wettest month of the year

This week was awful with all this friggin rain. Had some good lightning last night with the 9 pm storms. Ruined our carnival fundraiser 2 nights out of 5. Glad today is nice and we can make some money.

I was out today about 12:30 and by 1 it was pouring until 2. It seemed to clear so I went to the mall. It was overcast but seemingly nonthreatening. As soon as I stepped in, wow! What a cell went by. People came out of stores to find out what the noise was. It was the rain on the tarp ceiling of the Galleria Mall. Seemed like five rain storms at once. No one could hear anyone standing next to them. That is how loud it was. It was about 20 minutes of intensity, then the sun came out. Maybe it was the heaviest rain I have seen and if not, put it on the top three diluvial rains.

Next week looks like a washout, too, starting Tues until at least into the next week.
