Little hint of what’s to come temperature wise: Temp in State College PA was 16* this morning when the squall line arrived. It is currently 3 degrees. Dropped 13 degrees during the 5 warmest hours of the day.

Smitty we gonna get cold and windy, but the southern tail of the squall line seems to be drying out...looks to be another near miss for us...

Re: January 2019 Observations and Discussions
Smitty if that little kicker catches up, we may get a nice prolonged burst. If it doesn't, I suspect more of a dud. We'll know in a minute! It's like micro-tracking ha ha!

Smitty, the kicker didn't 'phase' but it might just survive as an actual kicker and come thru a few minutes later...

It was insane and we dropped 14 degree's during that squall. The wind stuck around and we got a nice little coating..

Re: January 2019 Observations and Discussions
That was impressive. Could barely make out my back fence that was less than 50 away.
Please, Mother Nature, can we have some more of that?

Re: January 2019 Observations and Discussions
Looks like we are getting a round 2...not that either has been strong as what you all saw up north, but it looks the Shore might still snow for the next hour or so...
Edit: Make that parts of the Shore...looks like we're done in Bayville. 3rd highest snowfall this year: 0.25"!
