Nice area wide storm of 3 to 5 inches. And all pure snow glory be!!! Gets me over the 30 inch mark, not bad considering the awful pattern up to now.Hoping for another area wide 5 to 8 for all.Very cold week to follow so we will all have some snow pack time!
The trained spotter in Monroe ended up with 4.0 inches Doc. It was updated once more after the 3.5

4.5" here
Wet snow great for snowballs, which are flying down my street. I can tell ppl been snow deprived, cuz they are acting like they never seen it before. Finally a snowfall that doesn't get washed away immediately after.

Not a big event up here, only 1 inch. Glad people south of me got some decent snows this time. Looks like you will jackpot with the next one too.

Interesting that syosett long island is the only place with 6.5 inches, is our old friend syo making reports to top everyone on the board? Too much of a coincidence. LOL

I heard a report Through the Grapevine that James threatened the train spotter in Syosset so he would have more accumulation than CP and doc.jmanley32 wrote:NVM it was a trained spotter that made that report. I got yonkers exactly right on the nose b4 seeing the report!

I didn't realize what a real hit this storm was for NNJ and NYC/LI and even a bit north of there. Frank38 you've been waiting so patiently all year for something to cheer for! MUCH more patiently than I would have ha ha
Dtone, right on! One thing snow deprivation does is make us really enjoy light and medium snowfalls.
Hopefully it's just an appy for you all! us all!!

Either that Al or he is the trained spotter in Syosett. That would explain a lot of their high numbers vs. surrounding towns in LI the last several years.

Or, he could have swapped out the trained spotter's ruler for one where an inch is actually 1 1/2 inches.
Come on ,Jimmy, I know you are out there,LI looks to be in the jackpot for this one! "Come out, come out....."!!!!!
