Loudest crack of thunder I ever heard

Heavy rain with lots of lighting just got soaked

That was just, wow. Hardest rain I've experienced in a long time.

Scared one of my kids. Welcome Spring! The tornado watch was scary. I was looking at the radar at 4 a.m. hoping it stayed a watch.

Hit here around 4 am. Lots of thunder and lightning. The rain was coming down in sheets. Street looked like a river. Can see a lot of the flowering trees lost flowers/leaves to the wind and a lot of debris blown into the streets; but I haven’t seen major damage.

Here for me it as 3:30 with a steady rain, then it all kicked in for about an hour and a half. Heavy rains. Then it was over.

Had heavy rain and lots of lightning at 430 this morning..currently in the red with another bought of very heavy rain

Man what the heck? I must be a heavy sleeper. Did not even hear a rumble of thunder.

hey Frank I hope everything is going well with u . When I woke up this morning around 4: 30 my phone went off saying we had a severe thunderstorm warning . When I left my house it just poured lots of lightning heavy driven rain and even with a umbrella I got soaked you missed a good storm

Wasn't that bad here at all Frank, all that tornado to do stuff.Just some wind and some rain.

We had a wind gust on my weather station register  51mph yesterday afternoon...just a tad breezy thought of Jman

Hey guys I hope everything is going well .this Saturday I am going to a Yankee game at 1 pm do u think the game will be cancelled due to the rain

Not necessarily. The heaviest rain will likely be Friday night into Saturday morning. By Saturday afternoon it may be more scattered and coming to an end by late afternoon. So you may actually be able to get the game in. Field conditions probably won't be a factor as most professional fields such as Yankee Stadium are designed to handle a lot of water -- so Friday night/Saturday morning's heavy rain should not affect the game; only rain actually falling in the afternoon. I wouldn't rule out a rain delay, but I think they could still get the game in.

Looks like a wet Friday night and Saturday ahead.

Easter looks cloudy

Surprisingly just a spritz here so far. At 11 pm I am still waiting for the rain.

Soaking rain here for a good part of the overnight/early morning. Clearing out now. Looks to be cloudy but mostly dry remainder of the day.

What a beautiful day!! 70* for a high...spent the day in my garden cleaning it up...I will say this I feel bad for pollen sufferers...wow everything is covered...

When you don't get those few dozen stray leaves out of the gutter and they cause the whole gutter to overflow, creating a water curtain across the entire front of the house that would make the Bellagio proud. Yeah, that kind of rain.

Looks like some very strong storms moving into the lower Susquehanna Valley in PA and through the Balt./Wash DC area. Those could affect New Jersey after 6 p.m. this evening.

Central and Southeast Pennsylvania
Northeast Virginia
Coastal Waters

* Effective this Friday afternoon and evening from 135 PM until
900 PM EDT.

* Primary threats include...
A couple tornadoes possible
Widespread damaging wind gusts to 70 mph likely
Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible
