holy moly wind today!! and it feels like 42* outside....currently 54 ....not too bad on the rain yesterday..we did have downpours in the afternoon that were worse than the evening storms....was out in the earlier one...and ended up hitting a pot hole...did not see it until we hit it...lucky for me a tire store was half a block away...damn pothole ruined my tire...second one this season..husband says..my next car I should not get one with low profile tires....what..he chose this car...lol...why is everything the wife's fault??? Thank goodness son was with me to attest I was not driving like a maniac...Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Freezing at Citifield last night. Gloves, blankets, many layers, felt like November! We are going to all be moldy after this week!

Bottomed out at 29.6° this morning.
Most of the HV and a lot of NNJ and SWCT with hard freezes this morning. The average day for the last freeze in the HV is May 5th. It remains to be seen whether we will have a May freeze, but I'd bet on one more before we're done.
See you all in October, Go Yankees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a great Hibernation CP, I will miss you my good Man and will hold the fort at toxic OTI ( encased in a lead suit) until you return in October! Let's all hope for a better pattern for next winter.Anyway, on a positive note, only 5 months until OTI glowingly re-opens again.
Turned into a beautiful day after the chilly start, very comfortable out.Managed a little yard work anyhow.Looks rainy and dreary for days.Landscapers will be happy, grass is greener than green and growing like crazy.

Grass is growing like crazy and a beautiful green. While I don't enjoy having to mow every 6-7 days to keep it in check, once it's mowed it does look beautiful right now -- uniform lush green. Before July and August brown it out a bit.

We need a May thread I see this month finishing warmer and wetter overall. April finished slightly warmer and a tad wetter overall.
