3° seems to have leveled off...

Central Park 6 which is only 2 degrees above the GFS PROJECTED low. The Euro and Nam now have 0 for the projected low.

Dropped to 3* no change in wind chill still -12*

10 degrees down in Langhorne windchill - 3

Central park stayed at 6 degrees at 10 pm. A little concerned.

Still -25 in lake placid -7 in Albany and -3 in my back yard.

Still lots of cold air flowing down from the north and those spots are still getting colder. Approximately 9 hours left for NYC to drop 6 degrees. I still think it happens.

3* now and was at my sons hockey game holy bleep the wind was howling and I couldn't breath for God's sake

Lake placid -26 and Albany down to -8, I'm at -3. These are the areas the cold is pushing down from. Not sure if clouds have moved over any areas but that would be a reason for the rise in some spots.

Hopefully this is a temporary aberration and temps begin dropping again after midnight.

Still stuck at 0° here. Don't think it will drop much more.

Some of the winds switched to WNW. Our best direction would be NNW. Not a good sign. Haven't lost hope yet though. Temps still dropping to our north. Albany down to -8 lake placid -27.

We are going to drop after 2AM from what a met says on another board





So, this leveling off was expected as we lost our strongest CAA, while we're still mixing. The mixing clearly stops after 1 or 2am and temperatures fall steadily after that.

That could be the final push we need Alex. Albany was stuck at -2 for awhile at 7-8 pm and they're now down to -9.
