Odder for them, then us.They have the warmest Nov and Dec, 26 plus inch blizzard, and now -1 at CPK, then 1 to 2 inches of rain a few days after the minus one.Great Caesar's Ghost!!!!!

You are right, I think a 12 inch snowpack would have driven these temps down a few degrees more at least!

My property is like two different worlds Doc. Almost bare in the front and snow covered in the back.

Finally another barrier breached. Hopefully the snow barrier is next.

-1 degrees here in Nutley. What a crazy winter with the record high temps back in December, to the Blizzard in January, to this bone chilling cold spell in February. I wonder what March has in store?

We still have time,CP.Our total this year is despicable, only 1/4 of what we got last season.I think I remember from your 30 year snow stat analysis, the HV is around 50 inches average.We need 32 inches just to reach that.Thought this storm coming would help.Dunno now!?

Well, nutley, I can guarantee a blizzard of booze on March 17 will hit the tri-state area.If I bust out with snow from now to then up here in the HV, I will be right in the middle of that booze blizzard!

New winter records lows aren't set much anymore at Central Park and other very old stations. The most recent below zero record low set in Feb was over 70 yrs ago. Most of them are 100 yrs old. Below zero is rare now in NYC, in mid Feb at that, unheard of previously.
