need heavier precip to get in here if ya want snow at these marginal temps, otherwise sleet and some ZR. makes wet bulbing difficult with very light precip

looks like that will hit the nyc area too on that trajectory at least the lower part of NYC area. There was a time on the rgem when a very heavy band did this. This might be it.

00z hrdps fwiw is still a crushing ice storm. All frz. 3km nam also has places getting 0.5 to 1.25 not saying it will happen but all the sr are back off on any snow and show just frz and a lot sleet for inland.

Sleet and rain down to 34. If we are go see those frz amounts or even half its go have get colder. Right NIW it's just wet out. Not saying we want the frz just saying to verify ATM won't come even close. Sr has heavy accumulations of ice just 10 miles 15 miles outside city.
