August 2020 Observations and Discussion
After some intense T’Storms last night (More frequent lightning and thunder than I’ve had in any earlier storms this summer) tonight is pretty nice. Humid but temps in the low 70s already so not bad.

Let’s see what Monday Night through Tuesday holds with Isaias now on track to affect us directly.

Judging by models looks more like a late Tuesday/Wednesday hit/impact no? It is super nice tonight and not humid here.

It was 94° real feel 106° here a couple of hours ago. I went outside to put a letter in the mail box and nearly melted.
Wasn’t this endless heat and humidity supposed to end by now? The heat is not so bad but the humidity is just brutal. And it feels like this pattern has been endless.

Forecast for the rest of the summer is hot and dry, so no real end insight, except for a little break this week due to the storm...

It hit 90 degrees here and though humidity was 81%, it felt like 181%. Yes, really bracing stuff. Last night, light rain only. Right now, blue skies smilin’ at me.

yeah got laid off with a bunch others essentially terminated no medical no severance squat. Cuz they could no longer afford us. If the executive director took a bit off her 300k plus salary for a non profit we would 've fine. We make squat compared. No promise of rehire and since its a special ed school the fall will 've a mess even if we do go back might get terminated again. Covid sucks. And just read new surge in NJ.frank 638 wrote:Jman I am sorry for u being unemployed I hope things will get better for u Asp .

Just finally was allowed to see my parents in person since early March. They basically have not left home since that day. Food delivery walks alone and that's it. Car had go in 1x that was only thing.

68 degrees, a few clouds and calm. The proverbial calm before the storm.Heard a few rumbles of thunder in the distance around 10 PM, maybe up Damian's way to my N and E, but nothing here.Thank God that tornado watch never panned out.
