Pouring insanely hard out, few lightning and thunder. And I needed to get out with some stuff for the post office now i gotta find a big enough bag for the boxes as this is training doesnt look like go end soon.

GFS says normalcy to some below normal temps for the remainder of the month of August?? Time will tell. Looks like a SECS to HECS pattern shaping up LOL!

After watching lots of Rodia channel I am learning the strange beliefs of older Italians, some are hilarious (no offense meant, everyone has their beliefs), Frank I highly suggest you subscribe to his channel. I hope it stays cool, I cannot take these ridiculous heat anymore. Fall is right around the corner but I know it will be hot through the fall at least on and off.

Something new and different today.A COOL morning.Cloudy, calm, 54 degrees.
Seeing the first splashes of color in the early maples up here that turn first.Noticeably shorter days as well.Little over a month to Fall.Looking forward to the end of this relentlessly hot summer.

Yes sir. Looks like the 500mb pattern is one that should keep here or around here for less humid and lower high temps for a bit. Yesterday, even though rained all day, was mid to upper 60’s all day. August 15th and felt my first taste of fall. Not bad.

WOW did I get hit good - multiple t-storms from 7PM till about 8:15, still raining but Thunder and lightening are done - heavy rains thunder & lots of lightening.

Picked up 1.35" from this and 1.85" for today.

Ground needed it!

Very powerful T Storm woke me from a dead sleep at 2AM.Lightening, thunder, high wind and torrential downpour lasting 15 or 20 minutes.
