30* with Light Snow here. Waiting on some moderate bands to make it this far N and W.

Snowing in Stillwater NJ at 1190 feet altitude, still have 6 solid ( frozen ) inches on the ground from previous snow, Temperature is 27 degrees. Hiked up top of the mountain today to the Appalachian Trail at 1605 feet altitude and there is 10 inches of snow. The snow coming down now at 27 degrees feels wet? If you close your eyes it feels like light rain ? Weird.

Moderate snow here in Barnegat. About 1/2" on colder surfaces and pavement now coated.

About 20 miles up the Parkway from Barnegat (exit 62), we have 1+" and moderate-heavy snow, with decent size flakes, and sometimes smaller size flakes. Main event for these parts has always been scheduled to begin b/w 10 pm-midnight. Seems like its getting ready to kick off shortly here.

I find it so funny how everybody I know from southern Jersey always references their location by Parkway exit number

Looking at maps and radar the rain snow line is off shore but not as far as if the storm was more east just a thought

Note the transverse banding appearance in the thin band of clouds between the two red lines. That’s indicative of rapid strengthening. We want to see that continue/expand, as it would indicate more vigorous tilting/strengthening of the trough/more efficient mass evacuation.

Is there a chance this can be 10/1 I know since I am at the shore it may be less than 10/1 but maybe I am wrong honestly have no clue.

Light snow, 32, Atlantic Highlands, pretty much coating everything now, looking forward to the heavy stuff and blizzard conditions later, not looking forward to clearing it though. Snow blower and shovel is ready.
