We had crazy rain with sleet mixed in just crazy about 40 min ago. Winds gusted to 28 mph and temps dropped 7 degrees in 40 min..to 41*..nuts

32* steady moderate snow and gusty winds. Ended with 1.35” of rain before the changeover. Snow just starting to stick to some colder/elevated surfaces.

Now winds are gusting pretty good, don't know numbers but its definently pretty strong. howling through windows at times.

I don’t know why the national weather service would issue a severe thunderstorm warning for the bx! Nothing crazy happened just heavy rain mixed in with sleet

The flakes are flying in Bayville! Don’t see this accumulating in any way, but it’s still our first snow of the year down here, so it’s a win in my book! Ooh flakes are getting bigger now!

Snow lasted about 30 minutes. Ground is just wet. Sun is coming out.

Back end snow is just not a thing.

No frozen precip here, not even that cold yet. Sun is starting to peak, occasionally gusty winds. Nothing much to talk about unless you were on LI or in CT seems. And in terms of actual winter wx nothing to talk about at all. Hopefully something will come by February.

Snow shutting down here, ground is just wet but the wind has picked up and the temperature is dropping. Hoping we miss out on the much advertised flash freeze

If you have snow on the ground yes, I make that trade any day.

33 and moderate snow continues. Not making much progress sticking yet. I’m sure once it begins to it will abruptly end 5 minutes later.

What happened to you December? F global warming.

I have not quite a coating. Not enough to cover the grass, but it's still snowing so that's a plus I suppose. And the wind chill is down to -8 and dropping.

Make that -10.

Yeah, no sooner did the flakes start to fly than they were replaced with sunshine/howling winds/plunging temps! Funcember!!! Well, j/k with that. I hope everyone here has an easy, safe few days, and may our homes be festive, and not festivus.

Sun peaking out now.Had a nice 45 minutes of moderate snow.I would say a heavy coating,LOL.Better then all green anyway.34 degrees and windy.Have a forlorn snow pile at the end of the driveway.Where I sit in the family room downstairs I can aim myself to see it and pretend,LOL.

Sun is out and temp is down to 23* with a wind chill of 7*. A very light dusting of snow on some grassy areas but not much. The cold is the real deal though.

Have we ever heard from him since he self banned? I saw him on American for a brief period and then he got kicked off for whatever reason.

This storm really hasn't been that big of a deal in the HV. 2 inches of rain and max gust of 35. Right now 35 with some light snow that barely coated the ground and almost done.
