Last night fire pit roaring

60 degrees, clear calm.Looks like we torch up here to 90 most of the week.Will be the hottest week of the summer.

Wth 91*

We had the air off the last few days and have been sleeping with the windows open. Was working in the heat today and boy was I happy to be able to turn it back on! Such a shame we will have to eat inside tomorrow, and I feel sorry for whoever draws the short straw to stand at the grill!

Short lived heat this week. Big trough comes back this coming weekend.

66 this morning and from 6:15 am to 6:45 ish, a gentle rain

Had a shower and a rumble of thunder this morning, peeks of sun starting to break through. Hoping the clouds linger, the more clouds the better, will hopefully keep the heat down a little bit!

Temp currently at 90° forecast to go to 92° today. Tomorrow looking at 94° for a high followed Thursday at 91°. Odd that we got though the whole summer without one single heat wave, yet here we are in early September sitting under the heat lamp. I don't think there was a single 90° reading the whole month of August. Keep those ac's cranking, at least for most of this week.

Looks like if we can get through the next few days of this end of summer mini heat wave, some really nice Fall-like weather with cool nights may return next week.

It’s got so humid and muggy. I can’t believe it’s September, and we didn’t have this weather in August I am ready for the fall. I can’t take this no more.

Hey, Damian,present and accounted for!

Had a big T Storm last night around 7:30, wind, thunder and heavy rain.Right now, 66 partly cloudy calm and humid.Looks like after all this storminess, we get into a nice cool run at the end of next week.

Good to see the doctor.

My storm was later about 9 with lights flickering but no outages. Things really kicked off at 9 with rain snd thunder and lightning. In the gauge this morning: 1.5 inches. School delays due to downed trees on area roads.

Atmosphere looks very unstable over the next few days. Frequent cloud cover and storms likely through Wednesday. Grossss! BOOOOO

These storms are killing me, literally on the other side of the hudson i can see and hear everything black sky lightning but nothing is going to move across, what a tease mother nature!

Holy moley! What a storm! 3.3" of rain in an hour, local roads flooded, tree branches down. Heard in the next town (mugs' hood) a lot of trees down, may have been a microburst. Lightning hit the building next to me as I was looking out the window, too bad I didn't have my phone ready.

What she said. Still pouring and lightning here. 2.5 inches

same here coming home from work in Midtown I noticed the skies were getting dark I said to myself finally we can get a good thunderstorm . An hour later nothing just light rain a big yawn. Lol

Absolutely insane in my neck of the woods as Zoo said. Only recorded 2.10 " but rain gauge was filled with debris. I have never seen flooding, streets turn into rivers, trees through homes, massive branches down all over and torrential rains and quarter sized hail. The roof on my shed, fiberglass, has about 5 holes in it, my roof from inside attic inspection has two areas that are damaged. No leaking by God graces but have to get it looked at. Here are some pics I snapped on my way home. A 17 minute trip took me......48 minutes.

Wow mugs. We never get anything even remotely as intense as that. Once every 10 yrs maybe lol. Glad there wasnt more damage hope you ok.
