Hi all, enjoying my time off until the 2nd, havent checked in in a day or two but many people are getting un hinged. But I believe when I did so right before xmas all I got was sarcasm and that I was being a downer...just saying. This is a bleek looking winter IMO, maybe it changes maybe it doesn't. But the feel of the forum ATM is of absolute pain. CP don't move, because it will suddenly make for a epic winter topping all winters in hx. Then again,,,ya go move yes please do actually lol (jk).

Just realized 21 more posts and I crack 20k...do I get some sort of celebration for the most posts of everyone? lol

Well fell back asleep to the sound of heavy rain and the freaking phone rings at 2am!!! My heart stopped...it was a flood warning call and it now torrentially raining!

This weather is really miserable, trying to be positive and hopeful for the remainder of the winter but honestly it is hard, this pattern is awful and seems stubborn

Love this weather and this pattern we've been stuck in for two years. No worries about boundary levels and whether snow will change to rain or sleet. No dry holes to obsess over, no dividing line between heavy snow and drenching rain. Just rain for everybody in equal amounts. From Dixie to the Adirondacks to Northern Maine. We all get rain and no one is cheated out of any snow, we all get the same thing. This is weather communism in its purest form. I for one am loving it.

same here I am sick and tired of heavy downpours. Heavy rain flood warnings. I thought by now we would see winter storms, heavy snow and someone but it’s been a disappointing December and disappointing winter so far.

48, cloudy, calm winds.
That's probably the only consolation, CP of this horror.EVERYBODY in the NE is getting skunked for snow.The worst thing is 2 inches of rain in the LHV and up in Oneonta, they get 24 inches.

Ended up with 2" of rain here, so close to flooding again but the reservoir was able to hold the water back for a little while. Waiting to see how the Passaic River responds.

While on the one hand I am.getting a bit discouraged about this winter I have to think we are essentially due for a major snowstorm at some point relatively soon. I could be wrong but at some point we have to get hit

Close out December.

CPK 5.5 AN temps second warmest December on record. T of snow reported one day. Lowest recorded temp during the month 25.

It was only the 12th time since 1900 that there was NO measurable snowfall before January. Be gone with the bad juju...
