The THREAD is now DEAD.
Keep hope alive.

Agree. I'm working until 11:30. Will update the GFS later tonight, including the GGEM.

Re: March 17th-18th Storm Potential Discussion
Just got back from a workshop - WTF?? I left this morning and even the GFS (Garbage Forecast System IMO) had a moderate hit now we are down to nada as I read the posts - SOB !! 3-3 ??
CP - deleted the thread - finally - HAHAHA!
We need a major shift in the models for this to come North and since CP killed the thread and the Euro is now showing Snow Flurries all hope is no lost and like I said yesterday we need that ridge in the west to be up not flat - keeping the faith.
Off the catch up on grading and other work.

Wow, just can't beat this trend that got set up in mid February.Seems the recent years we get a lot of snow, it's in a 6 to 8 week period, then it totally shuts down.
Also, if this one busts out, Rayno did it again with his "energy that no one is seeing." Yeah, they aren't seeing it because it isn't coming.
KOD number 2 if this one craps out, for Rayno.

Mob rule. Let's get a bunch of torches and cause pain to this trend so it's afraid to show itself next year. Just like in those awesome old Frankenstein movies. Death to the Trend!

All kidding aside I still don't believe, or accept this one is dead yet. I can't accept that we will be screwed this many times in such a short time period, it doesn't seem mathematically possible, but I have nothing to base it on other than that.
Of course the evil thread is dead, and that doesn't hurt either.

Face it CP all bad things come in three's. We had 2 misses so far this month and you know what that means "IT'S OVER JOHNNY" !!! Believe me I hate to see this season end this way, but I have a feeling that we will not be seeing anymore snow until next season. HOW DEPRESSING.

wolves, you can see the pressure mb here the ecmwf (euro). Its free. Wxbell is a decent pay site but alot of people post their maps so you can catch them for free alot of the time. Ryan Maue hates this says copyright violation.

NAM going to be a big hit again, not sure how far north though but looks on target for the area.

Re: March 17th-18th Storm Potential Discussion
Mt holly has put out a snow map. 2 to 4 inches North four to six inches south. Both mt holly and upton not buying the dry solutions from todays 12z runs..it was a confusing discussion but it had to do with the sampling from the shortwave in the northwest. if anyone can make sense of their discussion please post it
