GFS looks lost at H5. The scary part is, if it actually did what I thought it was going to, it would have looked like the NAM

Well maybe better luck tomorrow, I bet if you felt it would do something it will, you have a uncanny skill for this stuff.

What you mean better luck? The NAM was a huge hit, yet shouldn't be taken seriously, and the GFS was about 6-10 inches. Great runs

Yup. We are well in the zone of taking this threat seriously as we are no longer 4-5 days out. A bonafide St Patty's Day Snowstorm is becoming more likely by the run, guys.

Re: March 17th-18th Storm Potential Discussion
Oh no frank no complaints you had mentioned you expected something similar to NAM, was saying maybe it will do so tomorrow. But guess who posted 84 hr snow map on twitter. I really really hope it doesnt squlech it. And dang if thats only 84 hrs how long is this supposed to last about?

Re: March 17th-18th Storm Potential Discussion
According to GFS it looks like precip stops around 93 hrs so that 84 hr map (assuming it has similar time frame for end time) doesnt include another 10 hrs of snow dang.

Very good runs from the NAM and GFS, glad to see they agree somewhat with the track. Again, very sharp cutoffs for people north of NYC though

Hearing CMC is huge hit as well, but from where I get it it's not out that far so I can't confirm that
