Light snow reports as far north as ocean county, seems the western low is holding its own as of now, heavy snow expanding NW of the delmarva, I guess it's only a matter of time though before the eastern low wins out

Looking at the radar it doesn't even seem possible it could miss most of LI, but that's what the models say. Does anyone know if JB is still holding to his prediction? I know I sound desperate.

Northward movement of snow shield has halted just to my south, looks like we end up with goose egg too.

Ahh the good old snow shield Tom this has been the case for the last six weeks!bastardNjWeatherGuy wrote:Northward movement of snow shield has halted just to my south, looks like we end up with goose egg too.
W hat a friggin storm I 'll be retired and Doc 's ripe age before I may see one thing like this again.
Janet how low we are excited or accepting a ind advisory, we are weather ( snow) weenies here for this storm they can keep their w ind advisory just sucks. I know we have missed storms over the years but this one may be for me an all time great not bust but miss.
Anyone care to chime in on this?
I am looking forward to reports from the kid Alex our Jim Cantore!! Interesting to see how low the pressure gets and I have a feeling two things one we see an eye form and two we lose marine vessels out at sea sad to say - perfect storm deuce out there. Swell height? 40'? Or more?

I love that radar. Look at that double barrel low. If only it moved due north

I trust the weatherbell.com radar over the weather.com radar. When you look at the weather.com radar, it would appear that is is snow over Brooklyn, Queens, and Nassau County, but it's not. It's just virga. Weatherbell tends to remove the virga and its radar is still trying to get even into the Rockaways and Long Beach, NY...

The Radar data set I have is Gibson Ridge Software with a feed from Allison House.
Allison House distributes direct feeds from the NWS radar sites, it's as live as you can get.

Re: March 25th Glancing Blow Storm, 1st Call Snow Map
hey everyone, havn't been around much cause I have been so busy with school and work. This is very disappointing having another storm miss us to the south and east. Looking at the long range this looks like it will be the last chance for snow for us, am I right or is anybody else seeing any possible potential?

I love this wind map. Look at the circulation off OBX. Clearly a secondary low forming.
