No one really knows what totals will be skins, verbatim cmc was a pretty big hit, euro was moderate. gfs ehh but I am not locking onto gfs yet if it goes south at 10z or 00z for those who do not trust 18z then im game. Its fun just watching. And ya maine dayumm

Re: FEB 14th-15th STORM POTENTIAL
Frank, Is there a link on this board where you keep a listing of defined terms that you guys constantly use to explain what's going on (i.e. Godzilla, Norlun trough, model names/times/ranges etc.)?. If there isn't I think it would be helpful for us newbies. I know we can look on Google but its probably better explained by you guys.

Re: FEB 14th-15th STORM POTENTIAL
Do you by any chance have any thoughts of how far south of NYC right now it is trending...we are 50 miles...(BD/VD plans this weekend)....just curious..and would not mind..changing things up....I remember Boxing Day storm as well..we had 30 people coming over and as the hours past the predictions of snow totals got bigger and bigger..lol...we had a lot of cancellations and a few people got to sleep over and enjoy all the food in the house..that was a fantastic storm!! Thanks in advance!!

National Weather Service will probably issue winter storm watches for Suffolk County and parts of coastal Connecticut but I believe they'll be very conservative for the rest of the area with so much discrepancy between the models and have busted on the last several storms

LOL and ur mad about that? Lets hope and have some fun, I have a good feeling we see blizzard warnings and at least 6+ inches with rations from NYC/ immediate suburbs east. If not then so be it but I just have a good feeling, yet also this edgy feeling at the same time.
WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THE B WORD?!?

hey al, I think they will include nyc metro but maybe later than the areas u mention, as its a highly volatile setup. BTW hello stranger.

Re: FEB 14th-15th STORM POTENTIAL
hello John I've been following but I'm trying my best not to get sucked into this. look at what happened today a few flurries that's it. if the Norlun doesn't set up right we're only going to get a few snow showers and snow squalls which will be hit and miss so playing it conservative. by the way doc and CP I'm the speedboat that's flying by you guys.lol come on CMC!!!!

Bernie Rayno just tweeted he's updating his video soon and that NE is the spot, NYC is a tough call.

Re: FEB 14th-15th STORM POTENTIAL
starting tonight at 0 Z we should be paying close attention to the Not A Model and rgem. I believe they do better with this type of setup and forecast should be weighed heavily towards them. can't believe I just said that especially the Not A Model.lol
