EPS shifted 50 miles east with the axis of snow compared to 00z. Follows the Op, although by a little less distance.

Thanks JMAN - in his tweet he shows the OP in Black Bold 0 eastern most outlier.
Earthlight also concurs and says BM to just inside is what he feels will be the outcome.

Too far west? I thought that the Euro op was so far east that most of the snow vanished.

Opps meant too far east my bad.

Damn right, NWS is def feeling confident, to call 12-18 at this time already, might even go up. But I will take 24 hrs of 40-50mph winds and 12-18 inches. Though I could see more if things come together right. No mention of rain for coast.

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking that with some of the hyperbole (not necessarily here) we were getting something along the line of the Blizzard of 79'. We also dug out for days and our cars were buried. I had to climb out a window to shovel so we could get the front door open. I think it was a once in a lifetime event and I will never forget the loving, helpful, caring neighbors we had.

If we get 18 inches frank easily 4 feet in some places maybe higher if up agaist a building. This is go be awesome keep the faith and let the models work out the quirks. NWS as i said is obviously confident to issue blizzard watches 48 hrs+ out.
