Morning Ladies and Gents. Here is my first call snow map. Likely last call unless something drastic happens. Obviously a last minute job to the east shifts these totals down closer to the coast. With such an intense dynamic system there will likely be unexpected totals be it higher or lower than expected.

Only lasts about 12-14 hours on the EURO; if we see numbers reach 3' that's history without question. Those are lake-effect rates over a prolonged period from a synoptically driven system, basically unheard of.

Actually looks like 3-4am start on the EURO and 7-8pm finish

Local radio media continues to downplay the storm. 880 WCBS radio just said I287 to Tappan Zee N and W 12-18 and city and coast 6-12" possibly LESS!! What gives??
